La Torre Golf Resort is a private security gated Polaris World Resort set around a Jack Nicklaus Design 18 Hole Golf course, and just 15 minutes drive from Murcia San Javier Airport or 50 minutes from Alicante Airport. La Torre, along with the other Polaris Resorts, provides you with access to golf courses and 5 star facilities all within easy reach.

If golf isn’t your thing, then you can just take it easy by the pool or drive to the local beautiful beach on the shores of the famous Mar Menor which is a 15 minute drive away. Either way our Apartment provides the perfect spot for both a relaxing holiday or golfing break, any time of the year.

The resort includes the 5-star Intercontinental Hotel and a variety of bars, restaurants and shops.  It is located halfway between the best beaches of the Mar Menor and the city of Murcia, just a few kilometres from the El Valle Nature Reserve.

  • The golf course is an 18 hole par 68 course designed by Jack Nicklaus, featuring over five hectares of bunkers separating the holes.  The course is 5,871 yards (5,350 metres) and features two par 5s of over 500 yards!
  • The course a Florida style golf course making extensive use of lakes and wide fairways.  There is also a driving range, putting and chipping greens and a fully stocked golf shop.
  • The permitted handicaps are 28 for men and 36 for women and children (under 17).
  • Booking times run from 8am to 6pm in the summer and 8am to 4.30pm in the winter.  Bookings can be made here.

Facilities at La Torre

  • Polaris World Supermarket: La Torre has a fully equipped supermarket, in common with other Polaris World resorts in the region.  The supermarket sells the finest products and also stocks freshly baked bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables. It sells a full complement of imported products as well as national and international daily newspapers.
  • Polaris World Hair & Beauty: Located close to the properties of the resort, the beauty salon provides a relaxed atmosphere and expert personnel.  It offers a wide range of treatments to ensure all clients’ needs are met with no need to leave the resort.  The salon is open from 10am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
  • Banking: Residents of the resort will find branches of several different banks close to their properties.  The resort also has a 24-hour cashpoint.
  • Bicycle rental: Residents are able to rent bikes, adjacent to the supermarket.
